上司との話が終わると、葵は春にだけ連絡した。『昇進、だめだった。別の人に決まった』春からは『そっか。明日、来られそう？』と返ってきた。
葵は答える前に、六人のチャットを開いた。『明日、仕事が入りそうで。食事、別の日にしない？』本当は、土曜に仕事のなどなかった。
恵美は『遅れてきてもいいよ』と返した。リンからは『何時まで仕事？』と来た。しようという返事は来なかった。みんなに時間を合わせてもらうほど、次のが必要になる。
その夜、蓮からケーキの写真が届いた。切ったチーズケーキが、皿の上で小さな山になっていた。『六人分に切ったら、人数が増えた』葵は声を出して笑った。
サムからもメッセージが来た。『うちの小さいオーブンは、ちゃんと焼いてくれたよ。切っちゃっただけ』『待てなかったのは俺です』と蓮が続けた。サムが返した。『いつものランニングは後にする。もう一回、』蓮は『次は切る前に。明日はちゃんと六人分にする』と書いた。
葵は写真をもう一度見た。形は変でも、一口食べてみたかった。いいは持っていけない。でも、仕事のせいにして席を空けるのも嫌だった。
『土曜、行く。食べる前に、みんなに話したいことがある』葵はチャットに送った。それから春に返事を書いた。『さっきの仕事の話、。明日、自分でみんなに話すね』

In this invented example, 正式な発表 means “an official announcement.” ものの acknowledges hearing it, then introduces an unexpected limitation: the speaker still could not decide their plans. Both the first action and the contrasting result are true.
