Meet the friends

Aoi 26 years old

From Sendai, now working in event production. She and Ren have known each other since university; she met Emi through a work event.

Haru 25 years old

Grew up in Tokyo and works at Kissaten Yorimichi (喫茶店よりみち). He lives with his older brother and came to know the others through the café.

Emi 24 years old

Japanese-British, raised mainly in Tokyo, and working at a clothing company. She knows Aoi through work and shares an interest in sport with Lin.

Ren 23 years old

From Shizuoka, now a junior hair stylist. Aoi helped introduce him to the neighborhood, and he shares an apartment with Sam.

Lin 26 years old

Moved from Taiwan to Tokyo for university and stayed to work in software quality assurance. She met Haru as a café regular and became friends with Emi through sport.

Sam 24 years old

Canadian, working at an outdoor-equipment shop. He runs in Inokashira Park and draws route maps. He joined the group through his roommate, Ren.
