Yomi Daily is an independent newsletter offering supplemental N2 reading practice.

Your email and signup

When you enter your email and select “Subscribe free”, you join daily delivery immediately. Your address is used to send your welcome email and the newsletter. Cloudflare hosts the site and stores subscription records. Resend delivers the emails.

To limit automated signup requests, we keep temporary counters using a keyed, daily-changing code for your network address. These counters contain no raw IP address and expire within 24 hours; expired counters are removed when another signup is attempted. People sharing a network may share a temporary signup limit.

There is no confirmation email for new signups. If you did not mean to subscribe, use Unsubscribe in your welcome or daily email to stop delivery. We keep welcome-delivery state to prevent duplicate emails and safely retry failed sends. Private reading links are sent only to your inbox, never shown in response to entering an email on the public signup form.

Reading activity

If you use the “Finished reading” button, quizzes, or feedback links, Yomi Daily records those actions, quiz scores, and any comments you submit. This supports reading history and improvements to the material. Subscription and delivery events are also recorded. These actions are optional; you can read without using them.

If you previously provided a name for your private dashboard, we store it with your subscription. You can also mark vocabulary or grammar entries as learned. We store these choices with your subscription so they work across devices. You can return learned entries to review in the dashboard. Contact us below to update or remove your name.

Weekly quizzes are optional. We save your answers and score when you submit a quiz and show your best score alongside your weekly reading history. Retaking a quiz does not affect your reading streak.

Links in your newsletter identify your subscription so you can use these controls without a password. Keep those links private. To share Yomi Daily, use the public homepage instead.

Reader survey

The optional reader survey stores your answers to help improve Yomi Daily. It does not use your private newsletter link or automatically attach your subscription to your answers. If you choose yes or maybe to future testing and provide an email address, we store that address separately from the answers and use it to contact you about testing opportunities. You can decline any invitation or contact us below to withdraw your permission or request deletion. Survey participation does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

Survey submissions use the same temporary network protection described above, with separate submission limits. Survey responses and optional contact details are stored on Cloudflare.

Stop daily delivery

Open “Unsubscribe” in a daily or welcome email, then select “Confirm unsubscribe” on the page. Opening the link alone does not stop delivery. An email already in transit may still arrive.

Unsubscribing does not erase your subscription record or reading history. Submitting the signup form again with the same address resumes daily delivery.

Use the unsubscribe link in a daily or welcome email to stop daily delivery. Please don’t put private subscription links or sensitive personal details in reading feedback.
