「日曜、これに出てみない？」恵美はスマホを三人に向けた。画面には、高円寺の小さなフリーマーケットのがある。「服、売りたいんだ。気に入って買ったのに、ほとんど着てないのがあって」「私も。本、持っていっていい？」葵が。「本の箱をに置いてるから、部屋に入るたびに体を横にしなきゃいけないの」「そんなに本があるの？」蓮が聞くと、葵はうなずいた。「うん。だから、箱ごと空にしたい」恵美はの続きを読んだ。本も服も売っていいと書いてある。「サムは？」「古いリュックがある。売れたら、スケッチブックを買いたい」「絵、描くの？」「うん。今のより大きいのが欲しくて」恵美は知らなかった。隣の蓮は「いつも机で描いてるよ」と言った。四人で予定をすると、日曜は誰もほかの予定を入れていなかった。蓮もジャケットを一着持っていくという。恵美はの申込み画面を開いた。台を一つ借りるは二千円。「四人なら、一人五百円ね」三人がうなずいたのを見て、恵美は。すぐに受付のメールが届いた。「土曜の夜、うちで値段つけようか」蓮が言うと、サムもうなずいた。「本、何冊ぐらい？」「数えてない。でも、帰りは箱を空にしたい」葵は、もうスマホで日曜の天気を調べていた。恵美はクローゼットののコートを思い浮かべた。あれなら、欲しいと言う人がいそうだ。売ると決める前に、もう一度だけ着てみたい。

Verb て + はじめて marks a first realization made possible by an experience. Emi learns about Sam’s drawing when she hears his plan. It means more than simply “after.” Word focus: 受信（じゅしん） is receiving an incoming message. 受付のメールを受信する means to receive the confirmation email; the application is sent, while the confirmation is received. Word review: 正式（せいしき） means formal or official. 正式な申込み is a formal application, unlike just discussing participation.
